Massage Therapy for ICBC Claims in Delta
Booking Massages with ICBC Claims
Our registered massage therapy clinic in Delta is part of ICBC’s Recovery Network. That means if you’ve been in a motor vehicle accident, you’re pre-approved for massage therapy treatments under ICBC’s Enhanced Care benefits.
All you need is your ICBC claim number (provided when you submit your claim) and your Personal Health Number (PHN). With those, we can bill ICBC directly for your treatments.
Getting You Started
What you need to know
Enhanced Care covers everyone for 12 weeks after their crash, no matter who was responsible. During this time, you’re automatically pre-approved for 12 massage therapy sessions with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
It’s important to book your appointments as soon as possible so you can get the most out of your recovery benefits. Your RMT will work with you to create a treatment plan that supports your healing and helps you return to your usual activities.
Please find more information on ICBC’s Requirements & Enhanced Care and Recovery benefits here.
Coverage and Requirements from ICBC
You’re pre-approved for 12 massage therapy treatments within the first 12 weeks after your accident.
If you need more than 12 sessions or your recovery takes longer than 12 weeks, your RMT can submit a treatment plan to ICBC for approval.
Bring your ICBC claim number (and PHN) to your first visit so we can set up direct billing.
ICBC encourages a balance of active and passive treatments. Active treatments (where you participate in your recovery) are often most effective for restoring function.
